2018 HOTREC ANNUAL REPORT

In 2017, the restaurant and bars/cafés sector experienced steady growth in most countries surveyed by HOTREC.
The Nordic and Baltic regions seem to be leading the growth in turnover, with fast growing countries such as
Denmark, Estonia and Latvia. The only exception seems to be France, which is still recovering from its drop in
activity in 2016 caused by terror attacks.
